Hi IDP Guru,

My d-line is definitely the weakest part of my squad this year. It consists of Charles Johnson (vs. SEA),
Muhammad Wilkerson (vs. TB), Da-Quan Bowers (vs. NYJ), Brandon Graham (vs. WSH), and Shea McClellin (vs. Cin). I need 3 to start for week 1. Thanks!!!

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Jim
I'd start Johnson, Wilkerson, and Graham.

logankila said...

Ok, so I got Carlos Dunlap & Greg Hardy. Who do I start if I only have on spot for DL?

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@logankila
Basically a coin flip. But I like Dunlap's upside better.

Weird Shit Finder said...

Hi,
I've been reading that Justin Smith might not be worth keeping in my roster...and Nick Fairlay and Ziggy Anzah are in FA...should I replace J.Smith for one of them?

Weird Shit Finder said...

Also, Carlos Dunlap is available but would have to go thru waivers (im the last one in line)...So do you suggest I keep Justin Smith, go for Fairley/Anzah in FA...or wait for Dunlap till Saturday??? Thanks for the advice.

SinVin said...

Desmond Bryant or Henry Melton at DT for the season? We have to start a DT.

Is it even close?

Brent Deangelis said...

my league still has dumervil as dl. i also have wake and chandler jones. which 2 are my best start this week. any chance you can add dumervil into rankings for the leagues that still have him as dl. thanks

Gregory Thomas said...

I play in a "big play" league and got hosed by not starting Quinn last week. I have to choose between him and Mario Williams this week. Would you still role with Williams? (1 point per tackle, 0 points for assisted tackles, 4 points for forced/recovered fumbles, and 8 points for sack/INT)

@Ryan Sitzmann
Hah, I have same exact situation. Can you remind me what the # means in match-up strength. If both opponents are green, is the higher # or lower # more favorable?

a4242358-1bb1-11e3-a8c1-000bcdcb8a73 said...

@a4242358-1bb1-11e3-a8c1-000bcdcb8a73

sorry that was referring to Dunlap - Hardy question.

Gregory Thomas said...

The lower the number, the better the matchup.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Weird Shit Finder
Smith is super reliable. Almost always finishes in top 20. Limited upside though. I'd pickup Dunlap if you can. Otherwise I'd stick with Smith for the time being.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@SinVin
I think it's pretty close. I'd play it week-to-week based on matchups.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Brent Deangelis
I'd still go Wake and Jones.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Gregory Thomas
Yah. Quinn loves playing against ARI. Then typically his play falls off a bit after that.

Aspiring Harpo said...

What are your thoughts on Whitney Mercilus? He's got DL eligibility in ESPN leagues and had a nice first game. I favor predictable tackles over streaky sack-getters.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Aspiring Harpo
I think he's a DL2+.

Fantasydrx said...

Hi there. Are Geno Atkins and Julius Peppers going to do better than last week's blank sheets?
Also are Patrick Peterson and Trent Cole a good pickups?
Thanks a lot.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Fantasydrx
I wouldn't panick on Atkins. I may on Peppers. Not huge on Peterson outside of return leagues. Cole is a decent DL2- in leagues where he classified as such.

Brendan M. said...

Should I wait another week to play Pierre Paul (vs. DEN)? I could pick up Chandler Jones (vs. NYJ).

Brendan M. said...

scoring system: 1 pt solo, 1 pt assist, 2 pts sack, 3 pts forced fumble, 2 pts TFL

Weird Shit Finder said...

What is your opinion on the case of Anthony Spencer. He did really well last season, he's FA in my league and there is talk that he might suit up on Sunday....would you go after him? Or do you think he's still too fresh out of his injury?

SinVin said...

Thanks for the help. You are a man with swagger. Respect.

joel monod said...

No Love for Dontari Poe?.... Whats your thoughts?
Thanks

joel monod said...

Atkins-Poe-Ziggy Anzah
pick 2

Thanks

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Brendan M.
I'd rather play Jones this week.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Weird Shit Finder
I think he's worth a snag as a DL2-.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@joel monod
I like Poe fell just outside the top 30 for me. Atkins and Ansah this week for me.

Dave Siegelin said...

Ninkovich or Ware?

thanks,

dave

Weird Shit Finder said...

So I was able to get Dunlap off of waivers...but now Geno Atkins became available (I guess previous owner didn't like the big fat zero he posted last week)...wondering I I should keep upgrading and now go for Geno or stay put with Carlos Dunlap.

Tim said...

mario williams vs carolina? or do i go pick up someone like carlos dunlap, michael johnson or nick fairley

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Dave Siegelin
Ware

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Weird Shit Finder
Atkins in balanced and tackle heavy leagues. Dunlap in big play scoring system.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Tim
I like Dunlap more this week.

HBadger said...

Osi, Tuck, Cole or Ansah. Pick one this week.

Standard scoring.

Thanks!

Scott said...

I have these choices on the Waiver Wire. My starters are Watt & Wake, but beyond that I have J.Gallette and J.Abraham...not sold on either at the moment. What moves would you make with what I have from the list below for the year and why?

E.Ansah, S.Acho, J.Hunter, D.Bryant or N.Fairley (He's Questionable with shoulder issues, same one from last year.)

L Hayes said...

ok, i see your rankings but still have to ask. start chris long vs the revolving door in atl, or dunlap for a mnf guy to watch and root for on monday night. sacks are 3 pts, tackles .5, assts .25. thoughts? best idp site around

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@HBadger
I like Osi. But I may be drinking the Kool-Aid on him.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@L Hayes
I like Dunlap's matchup more.

Ben Lowe said...

Dontari Poe or Nick Fairley?

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Ben Lowe
Close. I like Fairley more though even with the injury.

Lee Aaron said...

This week. Super Mario or Derrick Morgan? Thanks Guru

Jason R said...

Guru, Great site! My dl is a mess. I waited in my draft and picked lbs and dbs first because my league scores tackles and assists heavily and sacks not as much. With that being said, I currently have L. Houston, Jason Hatcher, and Zeke Ansah. We have to start two and a dt is not required. Available on waivers are Michael Johnson, Cam Jordan, B. Robison, and Michael Bennett. Which two would you start (including guys I can pick up on waivers) and who would you cut? Help! Thanks, Jason

L Hayes said...

how come no cliff avril in the ranks? he's gonna have a great game this week now that he's healthy, no?

Tony Gross said...

What do you think of Akiem Hicks DE NO (vs ARZ) or Calais Campbell vs NO. Hicks has the more enticing matchup or am I reading too much into it

Uy said...

I have 2 DL spots and Wake is penciled into one of them. I have Campbell and Poe on my bench and was leaning towards Poe, but saw that Geno Atkins is coming off waivers tomorrow in my league. Who should be in that 2nd spot?

Ben Strauss said...

Need to fill a 3-4 or 4-3 D with these guys. Who do I start C Jones, C Jordan, Robison, Poe, M. Foster, KJ Wright, Roach, Dumervil(LB), Angerer, Hightower,Dent. I usually go 3-4 becasue more LBs is better, but I'm thinking Poe and Robison could both be good plays this week. Tk 1.5 pts Asst 1 Sack 5 DTD10 FF 3 FR 5

Thanks. Great job with the site as always.

Sarah said...

Hey Ryan! Would you go with Jurrell Casey or Jason Hatcher at DT this week? Have to start one DT. Thanks for all your advice!

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Jason R
I'd go with Johnson, Jordan, and Houston.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@L Hayes
Not enough solo tackles for me. In big play leagues, he's a top 30 play, but outside of that he's more of a DL3-.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Tony Gross
Go with Campbell.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Uy
Pickup Atkins and start him.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Ben Strauss
I'd go Angerer, Roach, Dent, Foster, Jones, Jordan, Robison (3-4).

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Sarah
I'd go with Casey.

SwinganaMiss said...

Expect Clemons to do be limited this week? I see he will play. My 2nd DL today is Morgan, so I am looking

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@SwinganaMiss
I think he will be limited. Probably better options out there this week. I'd start Morgan over him.

dave said...

Guess Allen continued his sackless/tackless streak against that hoss guard.

dave said...

I gotta remember that in future!

Richard Mazahreh said...

Sooo is Adrian Clayborn the real deal? worth picking up even tho I have Mario Williams and Carlos Dunlap?

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Richard Mazahreh
No

Uy said...

Was Cameron Wake dropped out of the top 30 after that goose egg last week?

Forts said...

@Uy

He's injured and wont play this week. Could be out 2-3

Uy said...

@Forts

He practiced yesterday so it looks like he has a chance to play Monday.

Sigg said...

Need a to pick up DL today 1 or 2 guys on your big board are available but what rank do u give Mingo as a DL eligible

L Hayes said...

I'm thinking of grabbing clayborn as my dl2 off fa, but Atkins is a fa Sunday morning. Don't think Atkins will be good vs hoyer? Or stick with clayborn? I know he's a sleeper for ya! Great site as aleays

ryno2020 said...

Thoughts on Willie Young from Det? Thanks

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Sigg
If Sheard doesn't play, Mingo is a nice DL2. Otherwise, he's more of a DL3-DL3+.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@L Hayes
Atkins has a nice matchup, but hasn't produced much at all this year, so dropped him down until he proves himself. Clayborn has a very nice matchup and is the safer play. I think Atkins is the better ROS play though.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@ryno2020
DL4+.

L Hayes said...

So then Dunlap or clayborn? Dunlap hasn't done much either

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@L Hayes
Rankings say Dunlap :)

Ryan Barsotti said...

Dunlap or Charles Johnson?

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Ryan Barsotti
Please refer to the rankings as they are based on your scoring system.

Ryan Barsotti said...

Oh sorry, I see that Johnson is a DL1- and has a much better matchup this week. Thanks guru, sorry to clog the comments!

E said...

Where would you rank Mercilus as DL?

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@E
In the 20ish range.

Sean Kirby said...

if my league lists Whiteny Mercilus as a DL, would it be a steal to start him at DL, since he puts up LB numbers? I'd be putting him over JPP, behind JJ Watt.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Sean Kirby
I still like JPP more this week due to matchup.

Richard Mazahreh said...

Lol I love how fantasy players think starting a LB at DL is s "steal". For instance, I started the season with Elvis Dumervil and Whitney Mercilus at DL (even tho there listed DL/LB). It worked...for about a week. There is not a single IDP that is a coveted DL/LB consistent enough for it to be a steal. You're better off the old fashioned way- just make sure you follow IDP Guru's rankings, they won't let you down! This guy knows what he's talking about!

Richard Mazahreh said...

Could you explain your reasoning behind why you gave the nod to Jones over Dunlap? Even tho Carlos has the better match-up? Just wondering since I own both and need to start 1...

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Richard Mazahreh
Not much difference between the #5 and #6 ranking here. Can't always go off of matchup rankings as that's based off points allowed. Digging deeper, the Pats are always hard to sack and Dunlap relies on sacks. Bengals are tough to sack as well, but I would argue not quite as much as the Pats. In the end, it's a coin flip though.

Richard Mazahreh said...

Thanks! I'm rolling with Jones. I agree both teams are hard to sack, but it seems like I see Tom Brady go down less than Andy Dalton.

Devin said...

I have Michael Johnson, Cameron Wake, and JPP. If Johnson and Wake can't go I am thinking about options between Junior Galette, Jurrell Casey, Jason Hatcher, or Cliff Avril, which one would you choose? I would probably be dropping Johnson I am guessing which is why I couldn't pick up Fairley or Ansah (both same bye as JPP). Thanks Guru.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Devin
I like Casey as a nice high floor DL3 option.

Uy said...

How would you rank Bruce Irvin, who is listed as a DL in Yahoo?

E said...

I'm rolling with Whitney Mercilus as my DL this week. Would he be in your top 10? Do you see him as a potential DL1 rest of season? I think he's a virtual lock for 60 combined tackles and 10 sacks.

Brent Deangelis said...

thoughts on ayers

Mike C said...

I'm pretty shocked to not see Cameron Jordan ranked among the top 30 defensive linemen this week. Seems like a decent enough match-up against NE. Chandler Jones is available in my money league, whom you have ranked in the top 6. But to grab him, I'd have to let Jordan go. Not feeling so good about that given the good season he's having. Ease my fears here, please. Would you just roll with Jordan or grab Jones???

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Uy
Probably as a DL3 for this week. Doesn't generate enough tackles to warrant a higher ranking IMO. Similar to Cliff Avril or a Dwight Freeney.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@E
I have him in the DL2 tier for ROS but he's quickly moving up. He's a top 10-15 play this week against the Rams.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Brent Deangelis
I like him this week as an attractive DL3 with upside option against the Jags.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Mike C
Sorry. That was just an ommission on my part. Jordan is now in the rankings. Definitely hold on to him. Although Brady is hard to sack.

N said...

Hey man,

Can you talk a bit about JPP and Mario? JPP is really far down this week and Mario is very high even though Cincy is only giving up 22 points a week to DL.

Thanks,
N

Jonny B said...

pickup Mike Neal since he is playing LB this week or it doesnt matter?

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@N
JPP has been struggling as of late and the injury seems to be limiting him somewhat. Additionally, the Bears offensive line has been much improved. Cincy isn't a great matchup but it's a better on than appears on paper and Williams has been playing well (I would argue at a matchup independent level).

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Jonny B
I'd probably steer clear of him except in the deepest of leagues.

Thomas said...

Should we as fantasy football IDP players we be a little worried about Chandler Jones overall value with Vince Wilfork out the rest of this season. This is the second year I drafted him. Though I'm really high on Ezekiel Ansah. His ceiling seems ridiculous. He reminds me of JJP a couple years back. Basically, how do you feel about dropping Chandler Jones for Ezekiel Ansah the rest of the way? I know Jones is higher in your rankings this week. Just want your opinion Guru. Thanks.

Coach T

Robert Martinez said...

Would you play Cameron Jordan or Chandler Jones this week?

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Robert Martinez
According to rankings, Jones.

Nate Wong said...

Is Mike Neal a sneaky DL play this week since he's going to be seeing a lot of snaps at linebacker?

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Nate Wong
DL3-/DL4+

James Blair-Pilling said...

The table is not appearing this week. Do you know the possible cause?

James Blair-Pilling said...

@James Blair-Pilling
It eventually loaded. So no worries.

Gregory Thomas said...

Hmm I see that Mario Williams has the 31st worst match up according to points allowed for DL. How are the Dolphins 31st when Tannehill has been sacked 24 times and fumbled 9 times?

SinVin said...

Inspired to see Cameron Wake top your list. He's on waivers. Should I drop Charles Johnson or Chandler Jones for him?

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@SinVin
I'd probably keep Johnson and Jones personally. Wake is my #1 pick as the matchup for him is great this week. However, there is a good amount of risk with him as he hasn't been productive since his injury. If you don't be taking a bit of risk, go for it. Otherwise, stay put.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Gregory Thomas
Only one DL has registered 4 solos or more against them and the Dolphins have only given up 6 sacks to DL out of those 24. Although we are only 6 games in, the matchup data in the rankings is still skewed and should only be used directionally. I do a lot more reason than just the points allowed data when developing my rankings. The Dolphins matchup is a good one for Williams.

SinVin said...

Grabbed Wake. Both Hardy and Charles Johnson are on waivers now. Still got Chandler Jones who I'm starting. Gives me a week to see if Wake turns it back up.

Shane in TX said...

@Gregory Thomas Sir (and Guru, if you're so inclined), I saw a reply that you gave way back about how the rankings work, and now you're referring to them again. So, if you would permit my probably oft-asked question: how do they work and what do the numbers really mean? ** Before I beat you down too much, is there a help or FAQ that goes into some detail about these things? I haven't seen anything obvious on the site** I've always just looked at the lists and tried to get the player closest to the top, or, at least, get one that was on the list. When looking at the red, yellow, and green, I took that to mean that a player with a red matchup, for instance, would have a real tough time getting tackles and what not, even if the number was good. Incidentally, I thought the number in the colored fields represented some sort of point totals that the team gave up and higher was better. Looking at your reply from before, looks like I had that backwards. So, referring to your post today, the 31 next to the Dolphins means they are almost the worst team to try and get points from? And Buffalo is the easiest? What about Mario Williams' matchup against Miami? Why is he the 5th best choice when he's facing the stingiest offense? Is the list saying that these guys have the best chance of having a good day -- regardless of matchup -- with Cameron Wake having the GREATEST chance of all? Thanks for sticking through 'til the end. I appreciate it very much.

Shane in TX said...

*to all* Dang...sorry for that gigantor post up there. Yeesh.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Shane in TX
The ranking # refers to the matchup rank. It goes from 1-32 as there are 32 teams with 1 being the most points allowed to opposing defenses and 32 being the least. Numbers 1-10 are green, 11-21 are yellow, and 22-32 are red.

However, sometimes matchup rank doesn't tell the whole story. Williams seems like he has a tough matchup against the Dolphins because they haven't allowed a ton of defensive points to DLs. However, they are top 10 in sacks allowed, they have just allowed a lot of their sacks to OLBs since they have played a couple of 3-4 teams so far. Make sense?

SinVin said...

@shane

Helping the Guru out. It's not rocket science to be honest. Ranking order is just that. The colored boxes and numbers refer to difficulty of matchup/where that team lies giving up coordinating points. Guru has mentioned at nauseam, don't look too much into colored boxes. The ranking already takes that info into consideration.

When debating 2 players, just look at ranking. Good luck!

SinVin said...

I can play Elvis Dummerville at DE in my league. Where would he rank?

Thanks...

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@SinVin
In the 20-25 range.

James Maloney said...

I usually go to stats at NFL and look up sacks allowed. Miami has given up 24 sacks this year, that being said why is M Williams a bad match up. Just wondering what I'm overlooking.. great site by the way

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@James Maloney
Please look in the comments above as I have explained the Williams matchup thing a couple times already.

James Maloney said...

I'm an idiot I just seen that cheers..

MJ said...

Can anyone tell me what happened to Charles Johnson last week?? He gave me 0 pts and I can't find anything on him. I only get to start 1 DL and don't have a bench spot for a 2nd one. Should I drop Johnson for Wake?

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@MJ
Nothing in particular. It happens to defensive linemen. You just have to ride it out with Johnson especially. He will get you two goose eggs then explode for 3 sacks the next week. Not as consistent as Hardy, but numbers wind up the same end of year anyway. Look at JJ Watt, he was silent in the box scores this week as well.

Uy said...

Breaking news is that Campbell will play tonight. I'm currently starting Robison and Poe. Is Campbell worth a start over either of two?

Unknown said...

Do you think Cam Wake is 100% and reliable for this weekend? He's available, but I also have Jared Allen starting right now. Would you try to go with Wake, or just roll with Allen? Thx!

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Uy
I'd probably bench him to be safe. Injuries like his are always a bit iffy. I would personally want to see how he holds up before putting him back in my lineup.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Unknown
I'm hoping Wake is 100%, but we won't know for sure until he plays. I don't think he is but he only needs to be 75-80% to succeed in this matchup. Allen's matchup is a good one as well but the Giants line play has improved the last couple of games. Allen is the safer play. Wake is the bigger risk/reward play. Up to you.

N said...

Hey Ryan,

Mario failed in a bad match-up against Cincy last week and you've got him ranked highly against a seemingly bad Dolphins match-up this week. Are you still a believer? He's only had 2 good games. If you are keeping the faith then so will I.

Thanks,
Nate

SinVin said...

Do you think Ninkovich will play more LB now that Mayo is on IR? I can play him at DE and LB like numbers would be righteous.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@N
In his defense, he got to the QB last week. Also, please read the 3-4 other posts above about his matchup against Miami this week. It's actually a good one.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@SinVin
They may place some more 3-4 with Nink at OLB, but I don't see his production changing much moving forward.

Shane in TX said...

@Ryan Sitzmann Makes a modicum of sense. What it really shows is your prowess. Let me apologize if in my few posts so far if I've asks tired, old questions. Next, let me reiterate what has been said many, many times from what I've seen -- and deservedly so: Thank you very much, Guru, for all the time and effort you put into helping out scrubs like me each week. It is above and beyond, more than a little impressive, and words don't do it justice. For that, I also apologize. Keep on keepin' on, Brother.

Shane in TX said...

@SinVin Not to leave you out, Sir, so thank you, as well, for helping and clarifying.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Brent Deangelis
Wake and Jones

SinVin said...

I had this feeling your rankings were going to be as listed. Hate to ask, but do I really go Chandler Jones over Cameron Jordan? Love me some Chandler Jones but that Buffalo matchup seems juicy.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@SinVin
Yah, we kind of went through this last week with Mario Williams and people doubting the rankings since MIA is listed near the bottom in points allowed. That is misleading as they allow a good amount of sacks and Williams snagged two against them last week. That said, I'd go with Jones.

Fantasy Gangster said...

Would you drop JPP for Michael Johnson? My other DL's are Hardy & Dunlap.

Fantasy Gangster said...

@Fantasy Gangster

or Rob Ninkovich

John Dang said...

Geno Atkins seems like a good matchup in my league with the Jets giving up 18.50 pts last week to Chris Jones, 5 Solo, 5 Assisted, 2 Sacks, 3 TFL and 22.50 to Chandler Jones 8 Solos, 3 Assisted, 2 Sacks, 2 TFL, 1 Fumble Recovery.

Should i pick up Clemons instead?

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Fantasy Gangster
I'd drop him for Nink.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@John Dang
I like Clemons against the Rams and Kellen Clemons at QB.

Soulfulgrooves said...

Chris Clemons, Greg hardy or Calias Campbell this week at DL?

justinofdoom said...

Guru,

Poe or Chris Jones this week?

Ryan Sitzmann said...

woj326 said...

So with news that JPP is only 75% healthy is it time to move on I can only roster 2 de and already have Dunlap. Clemons is available. 1pt any defensive play extra pt for TLoss or 5 tackles. 3 pts int.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@woj326
I'd dump him for Clemons. When a player admits it will probably be a year before he's back to full health, that tells you something.

xtjp760 said...

Hardy is playing Atlanta Guru, not Giants...

Devin said...

Why no Cameron Wake?

Nathan Suttmeier said...

What are your thoughts on Michael Johnson? He continues to be ranked top 10 every week with only one week having a sack. I can't continue starting him at this pace over people like Whitney Mercilus and Bruce Irvin, who have both had multiple big games already.

Renze said...

You are showing CAR @ NYG instead of ATL. Does that change the outcome?

Adam Deb said...

Dropped Wake and Started Jordan after looking at your rankings. Wake went off so hope you guys have are right about Jordan. Been following your advice all year and well....Cant blame though, its my team afterall

Tom Piccinni said...

got 17 points from wake. suck it guru! seriously though, pleasd leave him unranked from now on, I think its good luck.

Tom Bombachill said...

Wake with only 2 points. It's all your fault guru!

Robert Martinez said...

I have Chandler Jones, Cameron Jordan and Oliver Vernon. Who do you like to have a big week?

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Robert Martinez
Jones

Jny555 said...

In my league, Robert Mathis still qualifies for the DL slot. Aside from bye weeks, I've been starting Chandler Jones & Robert Quinn as my DLs... However, I'm wondering whether Robert Mathis is a better DL play this week?

Robert Martinez said...

Vernon has been on a tear lately. So you don't think he will do well against Steelers?

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Jny555
I'd continue to roll with Jones and Quinn.

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@Robert Martinez
He's ranked #14 which is a DL2+ and even DL1- in most leagues. So I do think he will do well.

xtjp760 said...

Clayborn with the #1 matchup and Vernon with the #12 but ranked above Clayborn.....decisions, decisions...argh...a little advice sir...

Ryan Sitzmann said...

@xtjp760
Although Clayborn's matchup on paper looks good, the Bills have only given up 3 sacks to DEs in their last 5 games. Go with Vernon.

Matt Walsh said...

Abraham is available as a DL. Is he worth starting over hardy or cameron Jordan? Thanks guru.

Alphabits said...

Ninkovich or Dunlap with 5 points per sack.

Lastly, please don't duplicate the same exact post on other pages. We get notified of all comments that are posted and we will make sure to answer questions as quickly as we can. Posting the same question multiple times on different pages just slows the whole process down for everyone.

Thanks!
