My pick is Nick Roach...the raiders offense might be historically bad and roach has produced when given the chance. He's been praised in camp for being reliable and "in the right place" and on a team so lacking in talent the fact that the coaching staff trusts him, means he'll be on the field. He's also learned under Urlacher and Briggs the last few years and ended the year on a nice roll.

NICK ROACH!

Bynes, has to be Bynes for Balt. If he holds off Arthue Brown. Just the hunger driven need to be a NFL LB will power him thru a frenzy every snap he gets. The idea of hard work and the need to be the best he can should shine.

TE Zach Sudfeld for the Patriots because Gronk may not even play much. And we all know about the other TE they had...

Osi Umenyiora coming to Hotlanta should be a HUGE steal in what, the 18th round. I'm betting on double digit sacks and hoping for some FFs like back in 2010. While the other guys in your league are praying for 2 rookies, Jordan and Ansah, to make impacts with their raw talent I'll reap the benefits of the veteran's proven penchant for getting to the QB.

A.J. Klein will fill in for a hurt Jon Beason or Thomas Davis and do his best to become Kuechly 2.0.

I don't really care about the prize pack, but I have a sleeper I don't think I've seen you mention yet. (Though I haven't done the bulk of my draft research yet, so I've mainly been skimming things so far.) I'm so excited by this guy that I almost don't want to mention him in case someone else in my league reads these comments. But I'm definitely targeting Micah Hyde in my draft. Reports out of Packers camp are exceedingly positive. And, as an added bonus, he's got a chance to return punts. He was infamous for his fair catches and/or letting the ball bounce while returning punts at Iowa, but it still seems like he could be a really valuable CB late in the draft.

I'm going with Vontaze Burfict. If he can control himself out there he should be in line for a big year

Eric Karcinski said...

I was originally going to go with Burfict because I picked him up middle of last year and he was all over the field but since someone else already picked him.

I will go with Sean Weatherspoon ATL Linebacker. Injuries held up a possible huge season for him last year. Dent is the MLB but I don't see him racking up more tackles than Weatherspoon. I will certainly be looking for Weatherspoon late in my money league this year. I believe I can get him as my LB3 or even LB4 and that is great value for him.

Thanks!

Another Packer - Brad Jones LB - He's owned in 30% of leagues in Fantrax and is the starting (and EVERY DOWN)WILB for the Pack. After taking over for DJ Smith in 2012 he was super productive putting up 20 pts in 3 games and 14+ in another 3. He's another year in the position and should be able to put up top 5-10 LB numbers in 2013.

I'm going to go with Daryl Smith. He has quietly been a valuable IDP player over the years in Jacksonville and now he is in Baltimore taking over Ray Lewis's position. He is going to have a monster season if he stays healthy and has already shown some of that in the preseason.

Kiko Alonso, The guy is playing inside but is all over the field this summer. In fact, the Bill's coaching put a GPS on his pads to monitor his running and had to rest him for several days because his motor and pursuit were so crazy, they felt he was going to burn out!

My vote is for Erin Henderson. He edged out Bishop for the middle LB spot, and I think he knows he needs to make a good show this year or else he'll be fighting off other guys until he's traded or dropped.

DE Adrian Clayborn TB. The forgotten DE in TB. 7.5 sacks and 27 Solo stops his rookie year and looked like the sky was the limit. Then the dreaded ACL tear last year wiped out not only his 2012 season out but quiet frankly wiped him off many IDP draft boards for 2013 season. This year, look for him to bounce back to form this year and improve on those rookie number. He will post double digit sack totals and upwards of 40+ tackles.

Shhhhh....Don't wake him up....and don't sleep on him in your drafts either!

My pick is Jonathan Cyprien, I saw him playing at Florida International and he is a beast.

Great now I can and missed the deadline. Well I go with chandler jones. He's fast and athletic and will be overlooked this season due to last season.
