2011 IDP Stockwatch: Week 17

Written By: Bill Edwards

Hello and welcome to this season-long series for IDPGuru.com. In this article, I will discuss a few players whose fantasy value has either gone up or down depending on their performance, role changes, injury concerns, etc. from the previous week. I will try to get this article out every Tuesday for your reading pleasure.

Stock Up
LB – Brian Cushing – (HOU) –
Cushing has still been putting in plenty of work as the season winds down. He has had 12 tackles each of the lat two games and 34 tackles in his last four games. Very solid LB.

LB – Daryl Washington – (ARZ) – Washington has 30 tackles and 1 sack in his last four games and has been pacing the Cardinals for weeks. He is putting a nice finish to his second season.

S – Akwasi Owusu-Ansah – (JAC) – Owusu-Ansah has had 15 tackle in his last two games and may be a sneaky pick for your dynasty teams.

S – Yeremiah Bell – (MIA) – Bell has 29 tackles in his last four games and a sack. His last game against the Patriots he racked up 12 tackles and a sack.

LB – Kaluka Maiaua – (CLE) – Maiaua has 14 tackles in his last 2 games. He could be another great pick up for your team next year.

Stock Down

SS – Kurt Coleman – (PHI) – Coleman came on late for the Eagles but did very well from a fantasy perspective when he had his chances. The Eagles put him on IR ending his season.

LB – Karlos Dansby – (MIA) – Dansby had a 100 tackle season and added 2 sacks before being put on IR. Miami looks to have a solid defense next year.

LB – Philip Wheeler – (IND) – Wheeler was one of the few bright spots for the Colts this year. He was probably drafted pretty low next year. Wheeler went on IR this week and will be back in time for next season.
