Defensive Scheme: 4-3
2009 Fantasy Positional Finish (My Scoring System): DB23 (only played 13 games)
ADP (Junkyard Jake): DB25
My Current Ranking: DB23

2010 Outlook: Finnegan has proved to be one of the more reliable tackle-producing cornerbacks in fantasy football since entering the league in 2006. The 7th round pick out of Samford has established himself as the Titans best cornerback and one of the more solid cover corners in the league. He will move from RCB to LCB this season. The left side of the field generally sees more action and Finnegan should see more balls thrown his way. And he’s reportedly been working out with Darrelle Revis in the off-season.

Finnegan not only produces nice tackle numbers, he’s managed 10 interceptions in the last two seasons. Not too shabby. He had 63 total tackles and 5 INTs last year in only 13 games. I look for him to increase his tackle numbers while his interception totals remain the same. He finished 23rd in my scoring system and a top 15 finish is in reach if he plays a full season.

He’s currently being drafted at DB25 which is pretty good value. I have him ranked at DB23, but I wouldn’t hesitate to grab him in the late teens. He’s a solid player with nice upside this season. There isn’t a ton of risk with this pick either. He’s a top 5 fantasy cornerback in my book.

2010 Projected Stats: 73 solo tackles, 14 assists, 5 INTs
